Key Access
Keys must be picked up from the Tech Office when the office is open.
If you have an appointment that begins before the Tech Office opens, or after it closes, please pick up the keys prior.
Tech Office Hours to get keys for Lighting Studio:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00AM – 10:00PM
Friday: 9:00AM - 10:00PM
Saturday: 10:00AM - 5:30PM
Sunday: 12:00PM - 10:00PM

Features
The Non-Silver Darkroom features:
- 11x14in high output UV printing stations
- Multiple sizes of contact frames to produce work
- 20x24in high output vacuum printing station
- 10.5 ft sink for chemistry with 4 ft intergrated whirlpool wash basin
- Sink and trays to accommodate up to 20x24in prints
- Clothesline to dry prints
- In room Storage for students enrolled in courses
- Dried Print pick up box
Shared Lab Guidelines
The Non-Silver Lab is a shared open lab space. The Lab is divided into two bookable spaces.
- Side A: Use of counters & sink on the right side of the room.
- Side B: Use of counters & sink on the left side of the room.
- Shared Communal Resources: Small UV Boxes, Contact Printing Frames, Trays, the Circular Whirlpool Wash, Large UV Exposure Unit, and Clotheslines.
- Please only work in your designated area and be respectful of others using shared equipment and chemistry.
Non Silver Lab Clean-Up Guidelines
- Please be mindful of other students and clean up your area after use.
- Chemistry: Safely and properly dispose of all used chemistry down designated drains.
- Hardware: Thoroughly wash, dry, and restack all trays, beakers, and tongs. Return all items to their correct storage areas.
- Surfaces: Wipe down all counters, chemical sinks, and accidental floor splashes.
- Prints: Remove all of your projects from the clotheslines (if dry) and print pickup bins. Please always try and pick up your prints within the next 3-5 days.
