Technical Assistance

If you are in need of technical assistance with anything regarding the labs, facilities, or equipment, there are several ways in which you can seek help from a technician. Please see the descriptions below for details.

Quick Question
Please see the Tech Office window located in room B-07 for any quick questions.

Tech 1 on 1 Session
Our technical staff is available for scheduled 1 on 1 in-person sessions to review specific pieces of equipment or procedures with students, faculty, or staff. All of our standard sessions are outlined below and we also offer opportunities for custom 1 on 1 session covering topics outside of our standard sessions.

Each session is approximately 30 minutes long and is not meant to replace in-class learning. Our hope is that these sessions will prove helpful as reminders and reinforcement of information obtained in class as well as a way to introduce students to working in the labs and facilities outside of class time. It is also an opportunity to discuss with our technical staff subjects that may fall outside of your coursework, but that you have an interest in and would like to know more about.

In order to request a 1 on 1 session with a technician, please fill out the form linked below. The request will then be reviewed and, if approved, you will receive a confirmation email regarding the session within 24 hours of the request. Tech 1 on 1 sessions will be scheduled no earlier than 24 hours after the request is received.
